We proudly call on our MP, Philip Lawrence in Northumberland – Peterborough South to vote yes regarding MP Niki Ashton’s Bill, C-245, An Act to Amend Canada’s Infrastructure Bank Act.

As local labour leaders, the Northumberland Labour Council strongly believes that MP Ashton’s bill would give communities like ours the tools we need to take on the climate crisis, and win. Since it’s inception, Canada’s Infrastructure Bank hasn’t done the job it promised to do. It is our belief that this bill would fix that.

We strongly urge MP Lawrence to vote for this bill and will be requesting a meeting with them to confirm their support.
